I have to admit that I was heart broken when my car flooded. I loved my car. There was nothing fancy about it, but I felt safe and it was nice and "worned into". It has been a sad week driving my rental car. Nothing is wrong with Ford Focuses unless everyone in your family is tall, you like to vibrate if you drive over 30mph and you like the smell of cheap hotel rooms. It just really helped me to appreciate my new car!!!
We got the call Monday from the mechanic that my car was definitely totaled. They paid off my other car and overnighted me a check. We went shopping yesterday. We got a really good deal and Jacob & I are really pleased.
We were excited to show Asher, but she didn't seem to be phased by it. We told her that was our new car and she was like ok, whatever. She says it stinks...she doesn't appreciate the expensive smell of "new car".
Everyone at work is real excited for me and have been telling me how pretty it is all day. And of course, the guys are harrassing me, telling me that they accidentally bumped it, scratched it, ran into it, etc. They think it is funny, I don't!!!
