Oh how things change...

I've been doing really well through this pregnancy. Feeling good, tired a lot, but overall good. Well things have changed all of a sudden. My back has been aching all weekend. It hurts sometimes so bad that I feel nauseous. Please say a little prayer that my back pain eases up...I still have a ways to go.

Asher was a handful this weekend. She is so excited about "Addison's birthday party". If I had a dollar for every time I corrected her "ADLEIGH'S BABY SHOWER". She is only 4, all she knows is that her little sister is having a party and she gets to help open her presents.

We have a new Hog Fan!!! I would yell "Arkansas" and she would yell back "Razorbacks". She would get so excited because BoBo and Mommy were giving high-fives and cheering, so she would go around giving high-fives. Earlier that day, we were watching other college games. She would come running up to me and say, "Mommy, they are pushing each other down. That is not very nice". I had to carefully explained to her that only when you play football and have protective gear on can you hit, push, etc. She acted like she understood, but everyone needs to beware...you could get tackled at any time!

Asher informed me this weekend that she likes her mommy being preg-a-nant (she says it in distinct syllables). She told me, "I can't wait till I get big-big, so I can marry Daddy and get preg-a-nant"! I told her that I had already married Daddy, but she informed me that she loved him too and that he was her best friend too and she was going to marry him. It was precious!

This morning I woke up to Asher crawling into bed with me. She said, "Mommy, you up?" I mumbled something to the effect that I was now. She looked at me and said, "Well since you're up, can we talk?" I was so caught off guard...It sounded just like a teenage wanting to have a talk with her mom. I sat up and looked at her and explained that she can talk to me anytime. She preceded to to tell me that we needed new cereals for breakfast. It was so cute! The whole time, you would think it something very serious we were discussing, when really she just debated whether she liked cereal, cereal bars or oatmeal the best. :)

  1. That child gets more precious by the day. Oh how I miss seeing her grow up. Do hope your back settles down sweetie. Could be the baby is just laying in a different position and will move. Ask the dr. if you can manipulate her to move into a different position and see if that helps.
