Crazy week of a Drama Queen!!!

Well this week was crazy, sorry I haven't written this week. We have been de-cluttering the whole house and closets for days. Which hopefully will make us lots of money at our yard sale and make our house more roomy. But in the time being, my living room looks like a tornado went through it because of all the boxes. We have huge closets, but I've taken advantage of them to the point that it is scary to open the closet doors. Now when you open them, they are pretty and organized.

Asher was sick this week too. I think it was just bad allergies. She didn't eat dinner on Monday or Tuesday night, which is always the first sign. Monday night I was cooking us dinner when I realized my house was awful quiet. Went to the living room and found Jacob asleep in the recliner....went to Asher's room and she was asleep in her bed... AT 6:00pm!!! She stayed home (well she went to Granny Jan's) on Wednesday because she was still running a temp. She has been doing better the past day or two. No temp, but still a bad running nose and congestion.

I had another little "spell" yesterday. I was sitting on the kitchen floor separating laundry. Got up (slowly of course, I don't move quickly anymore), walked into Asher's room to see if Jacob need help moving some furniture. It hit me like a ton of bricks. I got hot, very dizzy, everything turned grayish black, my arms and fingers started going numb, etc. I immediately went to sit down. I waited there for about 5-10minutes and still wasn't feeling well, so Jacob took my blood pressure. It was pretty high. Jacob helped me to bed and I took a little nap. Jacob took my BP again, it was still a little high for me, but had gone down like 30 points/degrees (whatever you call it). It was scary, but I was glad Jacob and I were home together. He always take good care of all his girls!!!

This weekend is my Baby Shower. I'm so excited. Asher is more excited than I am. She keep talking about how she needs to help me open all Adleigh's presents. I have slowly but surely been getting in my baby bedding. I still need my crib shirt and bumper to come in, but I've got all the sheets, pillows, etc. The colors are great. I was really nervous because so many of the reviews online talked about it not being the same color as what it looked like on the computer. I thought it was exactly the same...exactly what I wanted. Adleigh's room is going to be so precious!!!

And now the Drama Queen story....
Jacob's daughter, Asher, threw a huge fit this morning because she wanted Mommy to make her some oatmeal for breakfast. Jacob was trying to help me out, so I could get ready for work. He went and made her oatmeal and chocolate milk. She refused to eat it. She kept yelling, "I wanted Mommy to make my oatmeal and I wanted regular milk, not chocolate milk". Oh my! How frustrating. She loves chocolate milk and said she didn't want it just to be stubborn. And she loves her Daddy's oatmeal. When I make it she tells me to make it like Daddy's (I make it too "drinky" she says). I tried to get her to eat it and she just sat there by the table with her arms crossed. So Jacob told her she better start eating before he counted to 5 or she was not going to get anything for breakfast and he was going to eat her oatmeal. Around the #4, she hopped up and started eating. She ate the whole bowl! What a dramatic morning.
