What a weekend!

Warning: These pictures are in opposite order that I wanted and I actually wanted them after all the stories, but I was having trouble and I'm too tired to start over. So you may want to read the stories and then scroll backup and look at the pictures. :)

Fixing to start the "backward" egg walk...Asher wasn't too sure about this.

Dropping her yellow egg.

Getting ready!

Checking everyone else out before the egg walk.

I took off work last Friday and boy was it crazy!!! First I went and closed on Mom & Dad's house. It went smoothly. Yeah! Then Jacob and I (and Adleigh) had lunch with Dad & Joe. Then we were off to H&R Block to do our taxes. After spending time there, we headed to Walnut Ridge to test drive some vehicles. Long story short, Jacob found one he liked. He ended up getting a 2007 Chevy Tahoe. It is fully loaded with EVERYTHING you could possibly imagine. We definitely didn't need all those options, but Jacob really liked it and he works very hard for us and I want him to be happy. Now if we go bankrupt and we have to move into the Tahoe, he may not like that...we will just have to see. hehe, just kidding!

Saturday was crazy busy too. Asher had 2 birthday parties. One Saturday morning at 11am in Paragould. Asher had a blast. There were big jumpy things, a big screen TV with the movie UP playing (Asher was the only kid I saw that actually sat there for a while and watched it), game tables, etc to play with. Asher ran around for an hour and a half and then they ate pizza, cake and ice cream. Asher had a blast and was so tired when we left. It was about a 45 minute drive home. We made it to the Jonesboro City limits and Asher told me, "Mommy, I'm trying, but I just don't think I can hold my eyes open any more. Can I please rest them in the car?" It was so cute, but of course I talked to her and tried my hardest to keep her awake till we got home so she would take a good nap in her bed.

After Asher's nap, it was already time to go to the next birthday party. It was at Pump It Up. A warehouse here in Jonesboro full of those blown up jumpy things. Asher had a blast. It was so cute to see her play around with her school friends. It was Acelyn's birthday. She recently changed schools and Asher had really missed "my bestest friend Acelyn". Everything they would go to a different jumper, I would hear them paging the others to come. Asher had a blast again eating her pizza, cake and ice cream.

When we got home from that party, we were all exhausted. I fed Adleigh and all three of us girls went to bed.

Sunday morning we all went to early service, Bible class and then to brunch at IHOP. We then headed home so Jacob could go to bed and Asher could take her nap. When she got up, we headed back up to church for the kids Easter Egg Hunt. It had been warm all week and then it rained all Saturday night and it was freezing cold Sunday morning (that is why Asher is wearing her rubber boots while hunting Easter Eggs). Asher & Adleigh both went to the party, but I let Mrs. Charlotte hold Adleigh so I could play with Asher. I didn't notice until I got home, but I didn't get one single picture of Adleigh. Oops, my bad. I'm going to have to watch that in the future. hehe! Asher & I had a blast though. Asher got 47 eggs and she thought she was awesome! She kept counting and organizing all her candy by color and size. She is so my child!!!

I started my diet this week. I've been watching what I've been eating and working out, but I was at a plateau and still have a ways to go to get to my "ideal" goal weight. So I started a diet. I have been doing really well I think. I'm hoping to keep up the good work and the hard workouts and then maybe this "baby weight" will slowly, but surely go away!
