VBS 2010
Asher loves VBS. She comes home singing Bible songs and has tons of crafts and stories. Last year, we made it a family event. Jacob and I went every night with her. This year unfortunately, I didn't make it a single night. Jacob only got to go once. That was the week Adleigh decided to get 4 teeth in at the same time. She was fussy, spitting up, had diarrhea, etc. All we could do was hold her and love on her while she cried. But I did try to go early to pick her up, so I could watch her for a little every night. I love seeing her so excited to be at church.
The only downfall to VBS is the late night...repeatedly! By the end of the week, I was about to strangle her. She usually goes to bed at 8pm. She doesn't immediately go to sleep (depending on her mood and how tired she is), I let her read a book in bed and "wind down". But she didn't get home from VBS till almost 9pm 4 nights in a row. Asher is not a nice person when she doesn't get at least 9-10 hours of sleep! hehe :)
Asher loved her VBS shirt. You do not have to wear it every night. But Jacob's daught HAD TO wear it every night. The shirt was already fading by the last night of VBS. :-)
