Adleigh's latest Dr. Appt

We went to the doctor on Tuesday afternoon. I was pretty nervous because I was so scared he was going to say the dreaded words, "Bed Rest". He check me and I was not dilated and Adleigh is still high, so that is all good. He ran some tests that would tell us if I am likely to have her early. We got those results late yesterday and they were negative...which, according to Jacob, means I'm not producing some certain hormone that you produce before you go into labor. So we are good there too. Everything else was great. Her heart rate was 152bpm. She is growing like a weed...I gained 4lbs. Yikes! According to my baby books, Adleigh should be about 3lbs and 16 inches long already. The doctor did put me on some iron pills. He thinks I may be a little anemic, but nothing to be concerned with.

We figured he would have to check me, so we decided not to take Asher to the appt like we had previously planned. Which ended up being a very good plan, because that test was very painful and I wouldn't want to explain why Mommy was crying. Our next appt is November 2nd. Maybe we can take her then. I am so excited to see her face when she hears Adleigh's heartbeat!!!

We are thinking that maybe after that appt, since Asher will already be with us, we may make a quick trip to Memphis. We will go somewhere nice to eat and then go to Babies-R-Us for some last minute necessities that I need before Adleigh arrives. :)

Update on G-Ma Baltz - Her kidneys are still not doing well, but they are going to go ahead and do the heart procedure in the morning at 10:30am. Keep her in your prayers. Her age is a big factor; as well as, her kidneys after the procedure.
