I survived the yard sale!!! I could not have done it without Jacob and Katie's help. I just sat in the chair and Jacob would bring me box after box to go through. Katie helped me price everything, set it all up and then helped sale everything Saturday. I was pretty pleased that we only had about 3 big boxes of stuff left. Friday night you could not even walk in the garage, now my garage looks huge! It is still has our lawnmowers, bikes, Asher's toys, etc, but looks so much better...and helped me make a little extra money so I can go get Adleigh some things she needs before she come.
Adleigh is doing good. I have been really tired and still sore from everything going on lately. I've got a pretty bruise on my thigh from all the shots Tuesday night. We go to the Doctor on Tuesday. I'm nervous. I really don't want to be put on bed rest. I hope he says something like take it easy or even cut back on work a little (I could handle working 5-6 hour days much easier than 8 hour days at this point). But we will do whatever he thinks...whatever to keep Adleigh healthy and strong. Everyone keeps teasing me that she already has the "second child syndrome"... they say the second child always gives you more trouble. Otherwise, Adleigh is moving all the time and growing like crazy. I keep teasing that I am going to need a wheel barrel soon to help carry this belly around! hehe
Asher is getting even more excited, if possible. She tells me all the time how much she is going to help. She loves to look at all the stuff in Adleigh's room (even though it is still very unorganized). Asher seems to go through phases a lot. Completely rotten for a couple weeks and then a total grown up little girl that is sweet, helpful and uses her manners. This week Asher has been the later. (Thank you Lord!!!) I love getting loving from my girl. She has been trying to help around the house. As we speak, she is running back and forth between her plate of food at the kitchen table and her movie in the living room. I asked her not to run with food in her mouth. She said, "yes ma'am Mommy, I was just trying to get my exercise." :)
I made Jacob work a lot this week with doing all the yard sale stuff, so he is pretty exhausted. We made it through Church fine, but during class his head was nodding a little. We normally go eat Brunch after church/class, but today we came home and he went straight to bed. My poor hubby is so tired. My house still looks like a tornado went through it because we pulled everything out of closets. I hope to get it put back and organized this week, so Jacob can rest and spend time with Asher. He has a busy week this week....Monday he has an appt with his cardiologist, Tuesday with me at the OBGYN, Wednesday he has to work at Emerson and go to court as a witness on some robbery/wreck he worked a few months ago, work at Emerson again Thursday, sleep Friday during the day so he can work that night, Sat & Sun.
We were all shocked that G-Ma Baltz got to go home Thursday night. Well, she went to the ER Friday in Pocahontas and was back at St. Bernard's in Jonesboro by that afternoon. She is in the ICU still. We have not seen her yet. Aunt Kathy, Aunt Rose, Uncle Pete, Emma, Aunt Pat and other relatives were in for the weekend and we only get to see her a couple times a day for 30 minute visits, two at at time. That does not leave much time for everyone to see her. I plan on going this afternoon after all the out of town family leave. I want to give them all the time they can get before they go home.
