Hmm...Lets see if I can remember how to do this!

I keep saying, "I'm going to do it, I'm going to do it!", but I still haven't gotten back into the routine of posting on here. Hopefully as we get more in a routine, I can slowly but surely get on here more often. I have some funny stories to share.
I Like to Move It, Move It....
Sunday night, after a very long and exhausting weekend, I was feeling real down. I think it was a mixture of just being flat out exhausted from watching the girls by myself all weekend, while trying to do housework (which hardly got touched), and also knowing it was Valentine's Day and I was not getting to spend time with Jacob. You have to understand, this may sound bad, but I don't expect things from Jacob on Valentine's Day. I know he is busy and he doesn't think of these things far enough in advance to "plan ahead". We've been together over 10 years and I've learned this and I'm fine with it. Jacob does sweet things throughout the year and I would much rather have that, than just one day of thoughtfulness. My point for bringing this up is that, on FaceBook I was reading all these stories about spending quality time with thier husbands and all the great gifts they recieved and I made me feel alittle jealous. I wanted a date with my husband and maybe even a movie!
Well, it was finally 8:00 - BEDTIME! I was holding Adleigh, trying to feed her and put her to sleep. Asher knows the routine: pajamas, brush teeth, drink, potty, etc, so I sent her on her way to get all that accomplished. After I finally got Adleigh to sleep, I realized that Asher's light was on and she hadn't asked me to tuck her in yet. I went in her room to see what was going on. She was standing there ... Ok get ready to picture this... she was standing there in only her socks and panties, shaking her booty from side to side (looking as if she could dislocate her hip at anytime), singing over and over, "I like to move it, move it! I like to move it, move it!"
It was one of the funniest things I have ever seen. It is moments like that, that make having children such a joy. It totally put me in a great mood. I asked her what she was doing. I thought she would be all embarrassed. No, she kept dancing and asked me to join her. She said that was her favorite song. I don't know where she heard it, I can only assume school, but it was precious. It totally made my Valentine's Day!
Mommy, are you skinny yet?
I have been trying to go to the gym at least 3 times a week. I really want to go every day. I actually enjoy going to the gym. I like how I feel afterwards and I've realized, I have more of a tendency to eat more when I don't work out that day. When I've worked out, I tell myself, "you worked out way too hard to eat that" and I usually can walk away without much trouble.
Well this Saturday morning, Jacob was in bed asleep and I had just laid Adleigh down. I told Asher I needed to go to the gym. She agreed that she would be good and that if she needed anything she would go get her Daddy (Jacob knew I was leaving and was listening for the girls). As I was walking out the door Asher asked me why I was going to exercise. I told her I had gotten bigger since having Adleigh in my tummy and I needed lots of exercise to get skinny. She stepped into a lunging position and put her arm out as if she was trying to flex her muscle. She asked if I was going to try to get skinny like her. I laughed and told her I wanted to get skinny like her. She then asked if I was going to exercise "on one of those exercising thingys". I laughed again and told her yes. She then went into great detail how I needed to be careful and not fall off the "exercising thingy" because I may hurt myself. She really was concerned for my safety. It was so cute.
When I got back about an hour later, the ran to me and got in her lunging position again. She stuck that cute little arm out in somewhat of a flexed muscle and asked me, "Did you get skinny like me yet?"
