Asher's school mat

It is nothing fancy, but Mommy made it. Here is Asher's mat for school. I basically made two pillow cases. I added ribbon on the end for extra decoration plus to keep the pillow and mat inside the cases. I didn't want to totally sew it up so I can take it off and wash it. :)

I have a matching blanket, but after all the trouble I had with the bobbin last week, I finally got it all working (thanks to my Mommy!). Then I sewed up one side of the blanket and the bobbin ran out of thread. I gave up. I was too tired. I hopefully will find out how to fill the bobbin and can finish the blanket that goes with it, but for now Asher just took a different blanket. She was happy with it and that is all that matters!!!
