Dad's 54th Birthday!

Yesterday was Dad's 54th Birthday! I can't believe we didn't take one single picture. Opps!

We met at Outback at 6:30 and had a great meal. Our waiter was from Pocahontas and was a little "out there". He would be awesome and on top of things and then disappear for 15 minutes. It was a little strange, but good. The best part was our great family time together. It was the Faries (Jacob, Elizabeth, Asher & Adleigh), Granny Janny, Katie and of course, Dad. We pigged out, had a drink and talked and laughed until we were too full to do anything else. I had Asher yell, "Happy Birthday Papa" when the waiter was there. hehe He promised us we could have a free birthday sundae if he didn't have to sing to us. It was a deal!

But of course, I made Dad a birthday cake too. So after dinner, we went to my house for more cake. One of Dad's favorite cakes is German Chocolate, but he doesn't get it too often because Mom doesn't like coconut. I took the opportunity, while Mom was in TX, and made him a German Chocolate cake. It was delicious. I forgot how much I love those cakes. I felt a little bad because, Jacob doesn't eat nuts so he didn't eat any. He didn't seem to mind. He would rather had "real food" anyways!

Dad, I hope you had a wonderful 54th Birthday! We all love you so much. Have fun tonight when Joe and Jess take you out (but not more fun than our birthday dinner). hehe :)
