Well I don't know what is up with my background. It doesn't show up anymore. I hope over my Thanksgiving break I can update it...I guess it will be time for a Christmas background.
I'm excited because today was my last full day of work. I have to work a 1/2 day on Wednesday, off Thurs - Sun. When I go back Monday I am cutting back and will leave around 3pm. I hate to cut back my hours because of the financial cut back, but there are sooooo many positivies...#1 being I will get to come home and put my feet up and rest. I am so tired when I get off at 5:30, then go get Asher and get home. I am too exhausted to cook, clean or more importantly spend time with my family. I feel myself getting crabbier (is that a word...hmmm, just made it one). By leaving around 3pm, I can come home, put my feet up to let all the swelling go down, then go get Asher, cook dinner, and maybe even have some energy left to do housework and spend time with Jacob and Asher (and Adleigh).
I still don't have Adleigh room completed. I get frustrated when I go in her room. All the furniture is there, but the walls are bare. Jacob did get the curtains hung. They look great! They are bright green...so it really looks funny to have the big punch of color on the window, but no color anywhere else. I'm hope I can get alot done this weekend. Most weekends are not enough time for me. Friday I come home and crash. Saturdays I'm taking care of Asher and trying to clean, do laundry, etc. Sunday we get up early to go to church and then I run errands or whatever. This Thanksgiving break will be great for me. I am going to Pocahontas tomorrow afternoon. Dad is off work and I'm excited to get to spend time with him and cook lots of food. Thursday, we will be up at G-ma's house with all the Baltz's. It will be a hard day, but I know that G-ma would want us all there together! But then, I still have Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. Yippy! Friday, I don't plan to leave the house. Jacob is off, so after he sleeps for a while he says he will put up our Christmas tree (with my supervision). Then I hope to get alot of Adleigh's room completed; her laundry done and put away, diapers put out and ready to use, paintings completed and hung, hospital bag packed, etc. I will be all ready for her...just one more week and then we don't have to stop the contractions again.
Did I mention I spent Saturday evening at the hospital. I had really bad contractions that morning and then on and off all day. That evening, they got so painful I was literally crying. Jacob was at work and talked the the doctor, he told me to go get checked out. So I drove up to the hospital and told them what was going on. They started monitoring me and realized I was having contractions. I also found out I had blood in my urine and a uti. They said uti's are very common in pregnant women and can cause contractions. I have been on a z-pac to take care of a cold/allergy problem so they said they probably caused it. Because this was not my first time to have to go the hospital, I knew the drill. I told Jacob to stay at work. We texted back and forth alot to keep him posted and he came and vistited me when he could. I went through two rounds of drugs to stop the contractions (just like last time). They finally stopped and Joe and Jess came and got me, took me to Walgreens to get my prescriptions filled (they are the only pharmacy open at 11:30pm), then to McDonalds to get Jacob some dinner, then back to the hospital to get my car. They got me home safely and we had a fun time! Thanks guys!!! Wouldn't you know it though, my contractions started up again. I wasn't about to go back to the hospital. I took a couple Tylenol and crashed. I was so sore Sunday and Monday from everything, but I'm doing much better now.
Monday was Adleigh's Dr. appt. My blood pressure was down, but my protein in my urine was up. All in all everything is good. I'm excited to make it to my weekly appointments. I didn't make it to weekly appointments with Asher. I get to hear her heartbeat everyweek!!! Adleigh is still very active, but now she doesn't have much room, so it can sometimes be very painful for me. Jacob and Asher are doing good and so excited to see Adleigh arrive soon!!!
Today, Asher had Christmas pictures made at school. We went and got her a dress last night. She looked so cute! It has a green velvet top, red satin sash and full plaid skirt (see below). Asher loved it because it was so full and "princess-like". I hope the pictures turn out ok. I just got a small package because I hope I will be getting Asher and Adleigh's picture taken together soon.

While out shopping last night. We found the dress pretty quickly, then we went to find some shoes. Asher found a pair of red sparkling "Dorothy" shoes. They were so cute and matched so well, but they did not have her size. She was so upset. It was sad..but then it got old. I asked her to behave and hurry and help Mommy put her shoes back on. She started getting an attitude, talking back, etc and I was way to tired to handle that. So after repeatedly telling her to behave, I told her, "Asher if you don't start minding, I'm going to beat you." She responded, "You won't beat me, there are too many people around that can see you!" What?!?!
And last but not least, here is our "ganster" girl! She is just so cute! She kept pulling her do-rag over one eye and saying, "I'm a pirate!".
